Chiaroscuro now streaming!
We’re excited to share a short film we produced a few years ago with director Amy Bourgaize, “Chiarascuro,” adapted by R. W. Gray from one of his short stories.
"Chiaroscuro" follows Abel, who is turning 30, single and worried about his snoring problem. Through video recordings of his own sleep patterns, he unexpectedly discovers a visitor - a mysterious woman who creeps into his bed once the lights are out. Abel finds comfort in her presence and desperately clings to the possibility of her return.
“Chiaroscuro” had a great time on the festival circuit and was official selection at festivals all over the US and Canada.
Amy has been a frequent collaborator with us, acting in our films, teaming with us on 48 Hour Films and even co-directing the one year we all teamed up.
You can see the film on vimeo:
And you can read the short story in his collection Entropic where you can also read the stories that were adapted in Jon Dewar’s short film The Beautifully Drowned” and R. W. Gray’s own feature adaptation of Entropic.
